These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DriveJi website, mobile application, and driving education services (collectively, the “Services”). By booking a course, creating an account, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

DriveJi (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a technology-driven platform that connects learners with verified professional driving instructors across Bangalore, India.

• “Learner” or “Student” refers to any individual who books or participates in a DriveJi driving course.
• “Instructor” refers to a verified driving instructor assigned to conduct sessions.
• “Course” refers to a structured package of driving sessions offered by DriveJi.
• “Session” refers to a single scheduled driving lesson within a Course.
• “Booking” refers to a confirmed enrollment in a Course.

All bookings are made through our website or authorized partners. A booking is considered confirmed only after full payment of the applicable course fee and receipt of a confirmation message from DriveJi. Each course package specifies the number of sessions, session duration, vehicle type, and coverage area. You must provide accurate contact details, pickup address, and a valid learner's license or driving license at the time of booking. DriveJi reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.

We want you to feel confident booking with DriveJi. Our refund terms are as follows:

• Cancellation before the first session: A full refund is available if you cancel at least forty-eight hours before your first scheduled session. A processing fee of five percent of the course fee will be deducted.
• Cancellation after the first session: Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for unattended sessions, less a processing fee of ten percent of the course fee. Sessions already attended are non-refundable.
• No-show: Sessions missed without prior notice of at least four hours are considered attended and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
• Instructor-initiated cancellation: If DriveJi cancels a session for reasons other than your conduct, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost, or a proportional refund will be issued at your option.
• Processing time: Approved refunds are processed within seven to ten business days to the original payment method.

To request a refund, contact us at support@driveji.com with your booking reference and reason for cancellation.

You may reschedule a session subject to the following conditions:

• Rescheduling requests must be made at least four hours before the scheduled session start time through our website, WhatsApp, or phone.
• Each session may be rescheduled up to two times without charge. Additional reschedules for the same session incur a fee of two hundred rupees per instance.
• Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the course validity period stated at the time of booking. The standard validity is ninety days from the first session.
• DriveJi will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred reschedule slot, subject to instructor and vehicle availability.
• If you fail to attend a rescheduled session without notice, it is treated as a no-show and is not eligible for further rescheduling or refund.

As a student, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• Carry a valid learner's license or driving license during every session.
• Be present at the agreed pickup location at least five minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Inform DriveJi at least four hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel a session.
• Do not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving ability.
• Follow all instructions of the assigned instructor during sessions for safety and learning.
• Disclose any medical condition that may affect your ability to drive safely.
• Treat the instructor and the training vehicle with respect. Any intentional damage to the vehicle is your financial responsibility.
• Do not share your account credentials with others.

DriveJi and its instructors commit to the following responsibilities:

• Provide a verified, professionally trained instructor for every session.
• Deliver sessions in a road-legal, insured, and well-maintained training vehicle.
• Arrive at the agreed pickup location on time, with a grace window of ten minutes for traffic.
• Follow a structured curriculum tailored to the learner's skill level and progress.
• Maintain a calm, patient, and respectful demeanor throughout the session.
• Ensure the learner uses dual-control safety features where available during the session.
• Provide constructive feedback after each session and update progress records.
• Maintain confidentiality of the learner's personal information.

Course fees are displayed on our website and are payable in Indian Rupees. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your enrollment. We accept payments through approved online payment methods including UPI, credit and debit cards, and net banking. All payments are processed through a secure payment gateway, and DriveJi does not store your full card or banking credentials. Prices are subject to change, but the fee applicable at the time of booking remains fixed for your course. Taxes, where applicable, are included in the displayed price unless stated otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveJi, its officers, instructors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during a session unless caused by our instructor's direct negligence. We do not warrant that you will pass any driving test, as results depend on your individual skill, practice, and the standards of the testing authority.

All content on the DriveJi platform, including the DriveJi name and logo, course materials, training curriculum, website design, text, graphics, and software, is the intellectual property of DriveJi and is protected under applicable Indian laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal learning purposes only.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that endangers the instructor or vehicle, provide false information, or misuse the platform. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, all unused sessions are forfeited unless termination is initiated by DriveJi without cause, in which case a pro-rata refund will be issued.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through written notice. If the dispute remains unresolved within thirty days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
